Request for continued prayer
Submitted by: Sarah | In recent months, I believe I may have contacted your website in regard to a man whose name is Bill, in concern regarding his relationship with Jesus Christ. I am writing to thank you for your prayers, and to ask that you please continue to pray with me for the salvation of a man named Bill, and for those in his life who don’t know Jesus or how much He truly loves them. I am not in a position to witness to this man personally, but others have been contacted to this regard. Please ask the Lord to extend His spirit to facilitate and lead a conversational witness through anyone whom He may choose. Please ask God to extend His grace toward Bill, doing everything needed to call him, chase him, overcome his pride, lift the veil from his eyes, bring conviction to his heart and show him his need for a Savior. Like us all, Bill has made some mistakes, and has unfortunately had some tragic things to happen in his life. I fear his heart has hardened. He, and his loved ones need knowledge about God's love, His grace, His glory, His offer of forgiveness, healing, deliverance, and protection--especially now because at this time Bill needs release from addictive vulnerabilities (namely alcohol, and possibly recreational drugs), depression, and is in danger of influence by unbelievers (who also need prayer) whose worldly beliefs stand in opposition to God's word. Please ask the Lord to surround Bill with believers who can minister to him, and that He may use the challenges Bill has endured to further the kingdom and lead him to salvation; then, that others will see and also be pointed to Christ by what God does in Bill's life.

* I ask that prayer please continue in regard to Bill. For a while, Bill seemed to be a recovered (or recovering) addict. He's reverted back into heavy use of alcohol and possibly recreational drugs. Please pray for him. Please pray for his salvation, and that God will do whatever it takes to bring him back to sobriety and away from drugs. Please pray that Bill will be brought to look at his life, it's state, and face the fact that he has a real problem. Once this happens, please pray God will have a shepherding witness waiting there who can show him the better way in a Savior who loves him, and doesn't come in a bottle.
* Bill's orthopedic issue seems to have healed ahead of schedule. This is something to praise God, and thank Him for. Thanks for prayers to that regard. | 03-28-2010 |

Healing

Missionary couple in crisis - South Africa

They currently stay on a farm that is surrounded with African culture and religion. Strong witchcraft is operating among these cultures and is focussed on them. These attacks are fueled with opposition from religious groups and leaders that try to withstand what God is doing in the area. They experience a lot of attacks on their bodies. The symptoms and signs are associated with terminal and chronic ailments. Yet, they are faithfully doing the work of the Lord under the pressure and opposition. Pray for healing and financial provision.
