"Silver and gold have I none," said Peter, "but such as I have , give I thee. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk."

As Peter lifted him up, the lame man's ankle bones gained strength and he stood up walking and leaping and praising God.

This miracle created quite a stir in Jerusalem for the disciples and the early Church. Signs and wonders still amaze people today, because there IS power in the name of Jesus Christ!

That name (Jesus) is the only name whereby we must be saved! There is healing in HIS name!

There is cleansing of sin in HIS name! The Lord Jesus reveals his power and love when his people, called by HIS name, gather together to worship and seek his name.

You can know him in the same way the early disciples and Christians did.
